Peggy Jean Cain, 74, of Knightstown, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Henry County Hospital. Peggy was born June 10, 1940, in Greenfield to the late Paul and Minnie (Anderson) Pryor.
She married Ronald L. Cain on Feb. 19, 1970, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Peggy loved her family and was a busy homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald Cain of Knightstown; sons Brian Crossman, Jeff Crossman, both of Greenfield, Leon (Tracy) Cain of Carthage; daughters Shannon Jones, Davett (Jim) Rednour, Shelly (David) Griffiths, all of Greenfield; sisters Mary Jane Covey (Henry Shetrone), Betty (Jake) Andis of Greenfield; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel, 7355 SR 109, Knightstown. Burial will be in Park Cemetery in Greenfield
