Mary I. Pitts, 83, of Greenfield, died Feb. 8, 2015. She was born March 18, 1931, in Hillsboro, Indiana, to the late Marion R. and Ruby I. (Rogers) Cooper.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Philip C. Pitts; daughters, Christine (Tommy) Clouse, Carol (John) Bush, Rachel (Mike) McLane and Rebecca (Clete) Meyers; sister, Marjorie (Buel D.) Bearden; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
A sister; and three brothers, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m.Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Indianapolis First Church of the Nazarene, 9401 E. 25th St. with visitation one hour prior to service.
