Coalition to boost downtown to kick off
GREENFIELD — A group of community members working to achieve the goals of the city’s 2013 Downtown Revitalization Plan has its first meeting next week.
Greenfield Coalition will conduct its first meeting from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Creative Arts & Event Center, 2 W. Main St., Greenfield.
Other meetings are scheduled for Feb. 26, March 12, March 19, April 9 and April 23.
Sharon Canady, associate director of the economic and community development department at Ball State University, will facilitate the meetings, and the group is expected to discuss a historic preservation revolving loan program, the Riley Literacy Trail, the Harvest Market Park and attractive downtown living spaces.
