The Hancock Economic Development Council recently presented a plaque of appreciation to Ryan Koenig, store manager of Gander Mountain, to say thank you for choosing Hancock County for one of Gander Mountain’s newest stores.

The presentation was made by Retta Livengood, council board member and Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce president, and Dr. Harold Olin, council board member and superintendent of Greenfield-Central School Corp.

Gander Mountain is the nation’s largest retail network of outdoor specialty stores for shooting sports, hunting and outdoor lifestyle gear. The store opened in the 2100 block of Barrett Drive in Greenfield just north of Home Depot last year.
