Donald Lawrence Newman, 65, passed away on Friday Jan. 2, 2015, in Sebring, Fla. He was born on April 27, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio to Hazel (Newman) Edwards and the late Orace Lawrence Newman.
Don was a veteran with the Army serving during the Korean War. Later, he was a Project Manager for EDS/HP, Tax Associate for H&R Block, and Treasurer of York County Master Gardeners. He enjoyed biking, hiking, golf, traveling and was a master gardener. He loved his family especially his grandchildren.
Don is survived by his wife, Nancy Newman; children, Kimberly Newman, Crystal Newman, Jonathan Newman, Lori Newman (William Watts), Amie (John) Crouse, Beth (Jason) Gietl and Julie (Tanner) Stumpf; grandchildren, Molly Crouse, Chloe Watts, Sam Crouse, Savannah Littleton, Betsy Crouse, Charlotte Gietl, Elliot Stumpf and Noah Littleton; and brothers, Ronald (Mona) Newman and Gary (Allen) Palmer and his mother, Hazel Edwards.
