June Marie (Read) Neumeister
June Marie (Read) Neumeister, 86, of Greenfield, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospice. She was born on March 21, 1928, in Indianapolis, as the daughter of Kenneth R. and Lucy M. (Hinesly) Read.
June is survived by her children, Paul (Jessica) Neumeister, Jr. of Punta Gorta, Fla., Kenneth (Mary) Neumeister of Fort Wayne, and Barbara (Richard) Norwood of Sun City Center, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth R. and Lucy M. (Hinesly) Read; husband, Paul E. Neumeister, Sr.; brother, Kenneth Read; two sisters, Judy Hoff and Alma Beaver.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., immediately following the visitation. Burial will follow at Saint Johns Cemetery in Indianapolis.
