James W. “Jay” McGinnis III, 41, of Pendleton, died Dec. 21, 2014, at his residence after a brief illness.
Survivors include his daughter, Breanna McGinnis of Anderson; fiancée, Melissa Hyde of Pendleton; mother, Marty (Wade) Wargny of Ingalls; father, James (Donna) McGinnis of Maryville, Tenn.; 4 step-sisters, Jessica (Eric) McDonald, Kayla McGinnis, Klaire (Gavin) Flockhart and Chloe Wargny; step-brother, Scott (Melissa) Wargny; and 2 step-children, Lizzy and Tony Hyde.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shana Chappell and grandmother, Juanita Perrin.
Visitation was from 1 until 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. Services were 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with Steve Lane officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
