Kathy Anne Marcum, 53, of Shelbyville, Ind., passed away Dec. 25, 2014, at her residence. Kathy was born Sept. 18, 1961, the daughter of Joseph Edward Landwerlen and Linda Lou (McKenney) Landwerlen. Kathy married Todd Marcum on April 20, 2013.

She was a graduate of Shelbyville High School in 1979, and a graduate from Purdue University in 1984 with a B.S. degree in computer science.

Kathy was President and Owner of J&L Tool & Machine for 13 years. She was also Owner/Operator and President of BBUGGS of Shelbyville for 3 years.

Kathy was also active with the following organizations, Girl Scouts as a leader, Boy Scouts as a leader, Purdue Alumni, Indiana Bass Federation Secretary, Scuffy Board Member, Scuffy Drive Chair, Scuffy President, Board Member of Blue River Foundation, Board Member of Major Hospital Foundation, member of WBENC (Women's Business Enterprise National Council), Board member of Shelbyville Development Corp.

Kathy enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing volleyball at Shelbyville Parks and Recreation, spending time on the beach with family and friends.

Survivors included are her husband, Todd Marcum of Shelbyville; parents, Joseph and Linda Landwerlen of Shelbyville; father-in-law, Lee (Carole) Marcum of Greenfield; mother-in-law, Dee Marcum of Greenfield; daughter, Lindsay Callahan (friend, Vince Alcorn) of Shelbyville; son, Justin Callahan of Shelbyville; stepson, Conner Marcum of Greenfield and brother, Bob (Sandi) Landwerlen of Flat Rock.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at the funeral home. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at the Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home 437 Amos Rd., Shelbyville, IN 46176. Burial will take place at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kathy's honor to the Marcum Pancreatic Assistance Fund of Blue River Foundation, 54 W. Broadway St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.
