Stanley Wayne Copple, 70, of Morristown, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born March 9, 1944, in Shelby County, the son of Eugene and Mildred (Everhart) Copple.
Stanley served as a cook in the Army National Guard.
He married Janet Rennick on May 5, 1980, and she survives. Other survivors include his mother, of Fountaintown; brothers, Mike (Donna) Copple of Fountaintown and Steve (Janice) Copple of Mesquite, Nev.; sister, Joan (Dennis) Carmichael of Knightstown; father-in-law, Rudy Rennick of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Danny Copple.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
