Ronald Lee Anderson, 63, of Greenfield, passed away surrounded by his loving family Saturday morning, Dec. 6, 2014. He was born Sept. 26, 1951, in Muncie, to Paul and Sylvia (Keith) Anderson.
He was a dock worker for Arkansas Best Freight. He married Billie Jo (Sanford) Anderson on Aug. 19, 1978. Ron liked to fish, watch car racing and working mechanics. He worked on and repaired cars, trucks and mowers. He loved all music, especially country, blue grass, gospel and he also played the guitar. He was a dog lover of all kinds…real and toy stuffed dogs! He was a man who loved his family and friends very much.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Billie of 36 years; a son, Samuel Anderson; 3 daughters, Tammy Loder, Bobbie Jo May and Jennifer S. Wiles; 5 brothers, Tommy, Alton, Jackie, Gary and Douglas Anderson; 3 sisters, Jo An (Donald) Hendrickson, Mary Hale and Ethel Baker. Ron was a proud grandpa to all his boys, 5 grandsons, Justin, Tyler, Billy, Jaydin and Andy; 2 great-grandsons, Jackson and Jrayklee.
Preceding him in death were his mother and father.
Friends may visit from 12-2 p.m. before the funeral service. Services to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Dec. 9, 2014 at HERITAGE FUNERAL CARE in Knightstown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Funeral Care to defray funeral expenses.
