Evelyn Dean (Schrogham) Mix, 86, of Greenfield, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 2, 2014, at Hancock Regional Hospice Hospital in Greenfield. She was born Aug. 9, 1928, in Greenfield, the daughter of the late Jack and Ruth (Cooney) Hickman.
Survivors include four sons, Danny L. (Fay) Mix of Indianapolis, Phillip A .(Judy) Mix of Greenfield, Larry R.(Debbie) Mix of Shelbyville, Ind., Dennis W. (Tammy) Mix of Knightstown; two daughters, Sharon A.(Glen) Hindman of Middletown, and Sandra K. Atkinson of Dayton, Ohio; sister, Juanita (David) Waggoner of Gwynville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel A. Mix Jr.; son, Lowell E Hilligoss; and brother, Jack Hickman.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at Miller Cemetery in Middletown, Ind.
