Woodrow "Woody" "Dickie" Wilson Shelton, Jr., 76, of Indianapolis, IN, died on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014. Woodrow was born in Fredericksburg , VA on May 20, 1938, a son of the late Rebecca Hilda (Toombs) and Woodrow Wilson Shelton, Sr.
He was married to Rhonda Sue (McClarnon) Shelton who survives him. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Sherri Talley, Dinah Heck, Daphyne Papageorge, and Rebecca Lettner; stepdaughters, Barbara Colvin, and Beverly Wyatt; stepsons, David Gibson, Jeremy Kleiman, and Eric Kleiman; brother; Michael Shelton; five grandchildren; 15 stepgrandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Bell Mortuary and Crematory, Shangrila Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of service at the mortuary. Burial followed in Park Cemetery, Greenfield, IN.
