Debra "Debbie" J. (Allen) Armstrong, 62, of New Palestine, passed away on Nov. 18, 2014, in Indianapolis. She was born on Jan. 31, 1952, in Big Stone Gap, Va., daughter of Marvin Glenn and Joan Wilkinson Allen.
She was a 1970 graduate of Triton Central High School and Marian College with a Paralegal Degree and then later became a Realtor.
She was employed with the US Federal Government; Beattey Company (1994). Debbie was an avid reader and supporter of the library. She was also an avid James Taylor fan. She enjoyed traveling, and her favorite destination was Maine in the fall. She also enjoyed hiking, boating, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

Survivors include son, Aaron (Nichole (Szmutko) Armstrong ; mother, Joan Allen; sister, Linda Spencer-Beattey; brother, Michael Allen; granddaughter, Paige Armstrong; nieces, Shelley (Ron) Spencer- Hellmich, Angela Allen; nephew, Eric (Jennifer) Allen.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald J. Armstrong and her father, Marvin Glenn Allen.
The visitation will be on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, from 4 to 8p.m. at the mortuary. Services will be on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at 1p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel with Pastor Carl Coffey Officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, Ind.
