Thomas Ray Cutteridge, 75, of Greenfield, formerly of Indianapolis went home to be with the Lord Nov. 14, 2014. He was born June 2, 1939, in Evansville, Ind., to the late George W. and Anna Mae “Pearl” Lynn Cutteridge. The family lived in Elberfield, Ind.

Tom served in the Indiana National Guard and wanted to join the Navy, but he chose to marry his sweetheart, Dorothy Jean Morris in 1959. They lived in Henderson, Ky., where their daughter, Julianne was born. After moving to Indianapolis, their son Dennis was born and their family was complete.

Tom was an electrician by trade, and retired from Western Electric in 1983. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Indianapolis and enjoyed driving the church bus on Sundays. After suffering a long time with multiple sclerosis, Tom entered assisted living where he became a favorite resident and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Cutteridge; children, Julianne (Rodney) Williams and Dennis (fiancé, Hannah Nigh) Cutteridge; twin grandsons, Jeremy and Justin (Amy) Williams; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Gayera) Cutteridge and Rebecca Littlepage; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Georgiana Willis.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. The family is being served by Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington Street where a Funeral Service will be held  at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
