Misty Diane (Upchurch) Abercrombie, 47, passed away in Tempe, Ariz., on Sunday, Oct. 26th 2014. She was born on Aug. 5, 1967, in New Castle, Ind. Formerly of Henry and Hancock Counties, Misty has lived in Arizona for the past 8 years.
Misty was a beautiful and loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She will forever be remembered and our time with her cherished. Misty was a graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School where she was a member of the band. She was also a graduate from the University of Phoenix and was employed at Tempe Kia Auto Dealership.
Misty is survived by her father and stepmother, Roger and Peggy Upchurch; her mother and stepfather, Diane King Lamb and Robert Ballard; three children, Nathan, Taylor and Ivey Spreen; granddaughter, Kinley Carlisle; sisters, Shelby Upchurch Rouse and Taja Rumble; brother, Gabriel Lamb; several nieces, nephews, cousins, grandparents and extended family.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6th, at the funeral home. A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home 115 West U.S. Hwy. 40 Lewisville, IN 47352. Burial will follow at the New Lisbon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, P.O. Box 145- Lewisville, IN 47352 to help cover funeral expenses.
