Maury A. Ramsey, 80, of Fortville, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 24, 1934, in Indianapolis.
He was an Army veteran.
Maury is survived by wife, Judy (Newton) Ramsey, whom he married Jan. 16, 1979; children, Lorrie Ramsey of Indianapolis, Michael (Shari) Ramsey of Manassas, Va., Lisa (Kenny) Simmons of Greenfield, Penny (Gary) King of Indianapolis, Charles Hubler of Fortville and Chris (Tami) Hubler of Pendleton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Lynn) Ramsey of Minn., and sister, Vicky (Ike) Isaacson of Ill.
He was preceded in death by father, Clarence M. Ramsey and mother, Lucille F. (Bess) Crider and son, David Ramsey.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. A celebration of Maury’s life will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
