Geneva M. (Trout) Bolander Sipe, 94, formerly of Fortville, passed away Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at Hancock Regional Hospital.  She was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Greencastle to Jewel and Flora A. (Allen) Trout.

She had worked as a bus driver for Mt. Vernon Schools, as a manager for Kentucky Fried Chicken in Fortville, and delivered the Indianapolis News for many years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ft. Myers, Fla.

She is survived by her husband, Robert M. Sipe of Ft. Myers; daughter, Linda (Allan) Wilson of Fortville; grandson, Jeff (Julie) Wilson of Fortville; and great-grandchildren Jaclyn and Joseph Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Donald W. Bolander in 1984; sister, Doris Perkins; and brother, Ross Trout.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A Celebration of Geneva’s life will take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at the funeral home. Entombment will immediately follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
