Gale F. Kleiman, 72, of New Palestine, passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014. He was born on Sept. 4, 1942, in Indianapolis, to Lewis F. and Helen L. McCormick Kleiman. He married his soulmate Sherri Toon Vise on Sept. 19, 1998.

Gale was a 1960 graduate of New Palestine High School. He was the owner of Kleiman Electrical in New Palestine for over 40 years.  Gale enjoyed collecting John Deere miniatures, tinkering in his garage and watching westerns and NCIS on television.

People will remember Gale for his overall generosity and kidness. He was a true "good guy" and would go to any lengths to help his family, friends and community. He was affectionately known around town as "Milkman" for his fondness of his favorite beverage. A hard worker all his life, he always took his job seriously and was willing to help out anyone day or night. His country boy charm endeared him to everyone he knew.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mechelle Shepard; brother, Harold (Kathy) Kleiman, and three grandchildren, Douglas Bordenkercher, Alexys Shepard and Maxwell Vise.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Gale Anthony (Tony) Kleiman, and a stepson; Daniel Vise.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown with visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at the mortuary. Burial will be in the New Palestine Cemetery.
