Joyce Ann (Jarrett) Strange, 75, Rockledge, Fla., on Sept. 20th, 2014, the Angel’s Choir in heaven became one voice stronger as Joyce Ann (Jarrett) Strange went home to be with her Lord and Savior.

Joyce fell in love and was married for 57 years to Donald Paul Strange, Jr.

Joyce left peacefully in her sleep from Rockledge Rehab Center in Rockledge, Fla., and had lived a very active life in the Christian Community having preformed in many Christmas and Easter Cantatas, as the soprano for Gospel Trio “Desiderata” and a member of several Prayer Groups.

Joyce retired from Warren Township Metropolitan School District in 2000 from her position as a Library Clerk. Joyce was an avid crafter dabbling in painting, crocheting, and floral design being among some of her favorites.

Her love of people and wanting to help as many as she could, Joyce also had a career in Real Estate and as a Stylist at Char’s Beauty Shop in Indianapolis.

  Surviving are daughter, Dawn Renee Strange-Polk; son-In-Law, Donald L. Polk; grandson, Ellis P. Allen and son, Glen Paul Strange. They will greatly miss Joyce but know she is happy and rejoicing in going home and being with her beloved husband.

Joyce now joins both of her parents and husband in Heaven.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27th, 2014, with a viewing preceding from 10 a.m. to Noon at Hendryx Mortuary Cumberland Chapel 11636 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229; (317) 894-7421.

In lieu of flowers, Joyce had requested a memorial contribution be made in her memory to John C. Beeson Humanitarian Fund c/o Hancock County Community Foundation 312 E. Main St #B Greenfield, Indiana 46140; (317) 462-8870. Envelopes will also be available at the service.
