Ardella Elva Adkins Meyers, 80, of New Palestine died Sept. 23, 2014, in Brownsburg, Ind. She was born to Jacob and Leonita (Ost) Schlenz on Jan. 8, 1934, in Fredonia, N.D.
Ardella will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Yvonne (Robert) Schooley and Melody Taggart; son, Byron (Nataliya) Adkins; brother, Arthur (Leona) Schlenz; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Hobart Adkins and James Meyers; two sisters, Leonite Nitschke and Leonora Klingartner and a brother, Irvin Schlenz.
Visitation from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, with a service at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at Hendryx Mortuary New Palestine Chapel, 19 E Main St. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery.
