Rebecca Ann Strough, 59, of Pendleton, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on June 17, 1955, in Anderson.
Rebecca enjoyed being outdoors driving her wheelchair day and night. One of her favorite pastimes was watching old movies and listening to oldies on the radio. Two of Becky’s favorite groups were the Beach Boys and The Lettermen. She was able to see both live in concert. She loved her family, who took care of her constantly. Her Dad Merril helped care for her for 57 years. She loved to watch channel 104, The Cartoon Channel.
Becky is survived by her mom, Jean (Hunter) Strough of Pendleton; brothers, Dick (Gwen) Strough of Fortville and Ronnie (Terre) Strough of McCordsville; sister, Rita Doty of Pendleton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her dad Merril V. “Doc” Strough.
Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A celebration of Becky’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday Sept. 26, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
