Larry D. Southworth, Sr., 72, of McCordsville passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014. He was born Nov. 14, 1941, in Muncie, to the late Earl and Helen Buchanan Southworth.
Larry worked for Moorfeed for 18 years, and then retired from Fortville Feeders after working there for 13 years. Above all, he was a loving Husband, Father, Papaw, and Friend.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Cherry Southworth; children, Larry (Sally) Southworth, Jr., Tim Southworth, Johnny “BJ” Grubbs, Penny Hemme, and Vicki (Herasto) Galarza; brother, Jerry Southworth; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by a son, Monte Southworth and a sister, Betty Weber.
Friends may gather at the Funeral Home beginning at 4 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014. The family is being served by Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington Street , Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
