Norma D. (McGillivray) Hopkins, 85, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at Golden Living Center – Brandywine. She was born on Sept. 3, 1928, in Hamilton, Ontario Canada as the daughter of Norman George and Ada Janet (Spiers) McGillivray.
She married the late Donald E. Hopkins on July 16, 1949, in Hamilton, Ontario Canada.
Norma is survived by her children, Susan (Michael) Dean of New Palestine and Greg (Ellen) Hopkins of Vandalia, Ohio; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman George and Ada Janet (Spiers) McGillivray; husband, Donald E. Hopkins; brother, George McGillivray; and granddaughter, Stephanie Dean.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
