David Levi Marcum, left this earth to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014. His valiant five-year struggle with cancer is a testament to his courage, strength, and faith. He was born Oct. 4, 1958, as the youngest son of his parents, Raymond and Nellie Marcum.
David was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and participated in fund raisers with the American Legion Riders Post 102, on his beloved Harley Davidson. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Greenfield, where he nurtured and grew his faith in God.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lynn Marcum; his parents, Ray and Nellie Marcum; brother, Doug Marcum; sister-in-law, Barb Marcum; sister, Rebecca Marcum; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private event is scheduled for family and friends of David to share memories and condolences in celebration of his life.
