Dale E. Richards, 72, of Ingalls, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born March 31, 1942, in Beech Grove, Ind., to the late James I. and Doris (Miller) Richards.
He worked for Chrysler for over 30 years and enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, camping, sports and spending time with his grandchildren.
Dale is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Campbell) Richards; children, Carol (Mark) Thacker of Fortville, Jerry (Linda) Richards of Ingalls, Janet (Jeff) Collins of Fortville, Terry (Mina) Richards of Newport News, Va., and Krista Best of Crescent Springs, Ky.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Wendell, Johnny, Pudge, and Denny Richards; and sisters, Wanda Harris and Alma Perry.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Davis and brother, Wayne Richards.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014. A celebration of Dale’s life will take place at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014. Burial will immediately follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
