Nancy G. Simmons- Hasecuster, 81, was born on Oct. 25, 1932, in Madison, Ind., the daughter of the late C. Gerald “Jerry” and Florence (Niesse) Simmons before moving to Shelbyville, Ind. Nancy moved to Greenfield, in 1966, where she died on July 10, 2014.
She worked for Shelby National bank for many years and Greenfield Banking Company from September 1968, until her retirement in 2014.
She is survived by her son, David K. (Stephanie) Hasecuster of Rushville; daughter, Theresa Ann Hasecuster of Greenfield; granddaughter, Rachael (Austin Crain) Hasecuster of Rushville; sister, Mary Jane Plymate of Evansville and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death by her parents; husband, Norman “Fuzzy” Hasecuster; son, Danny Dale Hasecuster; brothers, Gerald “Sonny” Simmons, Terry Simmons, Steve Simmons, Clement Simmons and sisters, Patricia Armstrong and Ida Rork.
Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main St., Greenfield. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday July 15, 2014, at St. Michael Catholic Church 513 North Jefferson Blvd. Greenfield, IN 46140 with Father William Stumpf officiating. Burial to follow at Park Cemetery.
