Joan B. (Boring) Tenner, 82, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Morristown Manor. She was born on January 19, 1932, in Greenfield as the daughter of Asa and Florence (Wilson) Boring.

She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1950. She married Frederick William Tenner on June 7, 1975, at Trinity Park United Methodist Church in Greenfield. She worked for RCA as an executive secretary for 25 years. Mrs. Tenner was a member of Brandywine Creek Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution where she was a charter member. Joan was an avid Colts, Pacers and Atlanta Braves fan. She was also an antique glass collector.

Joan is survived by her husband, Fred Tenner; son, Robert (Robin) Beaman; daughter, Rebecca (David) Teeguarden; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Asa and Florence (Wilson) Boring; sister, Marcia Auch; daughter, Bonnie Beaman; and great-granddaughter, Greyson Mancilla.

The family would like to give their sincere appreciation to Morristown Manor and Seasons Hospice for their grace, care and support.

Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield.

A private service will be held at a later date.
