Donald G. Oden, 85, of Indianapolis, died on Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was born March 1, 1929, in Indianapolis, to the late Donovan and Margaret (Meyers) Oden and graduated from Zionsville High School. Don served in the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Jean (Beard) Oden, whom he married on Oct. 17, 1954; daughter, Shirley (Allen) Pulley of Indianapolis; two grandsons; brother, Ernest Oden of Fortville and sister, Patti (Don) Hess of Greencastle.
He was preceded in death by three infant sons; brothers, Russell and Keith Oden and sisters, Marjorie Harris and Frances Minteer.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
