Barbara A. Craig, 78, of Knightstown, died Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was born Jan. 2, 1936, in Carthage, a daughter of the late Carroll V. and Ima Jean (Howard) Stevens.
She is survived by three children, Robert Steven Jackson of Carthage, Debra Anne Jackson of Indianapolis, and James Daniel (Sherri) Jackson of New Castle; a son-in-law; seven grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; one great- great- grandson; a sister, Janet (Bob) Theobold of Shelbyville; two brothers, Jim (Diana) Stevens of Chesterfield and Tom (Tressie) Stevens of Taylorsville, NC; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Craig; and a daughter, Treesa Carol (Jackson) Jarvis.
Memorial services will be at Noon, Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel with Reverend Randall Badgley officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
