Randy H. Lowder, Jr.,41, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014. He was born December 28, 1972, in Muncie, Indiana to Randy and Sona (Turner) Lowder, Sr.
Randy had been a Karate Instructor in Indianapolis and had competed in world and state karate tournaments. Randy was a 4th degree black belt. He also had worked at Xerox call center in Anderson. He loved to fish, hunt, and ride four wheelers. Randy was still close to his high school friends whom he liked to spend time with.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Taylor Lowder of New Castle; son, Cody Lowder of Burksville, Ky.; sister, Della (Ed) Shiver of Anderson; maternal grandmother, Ruth Turner of New Castle; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Stan Turner; paternal grandparents, Jesse James and Kathlene Juanita Lowder.
Friends may call from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014, at the funeral home. Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Jeff Lowder officiating. Private burial will be in Green Hills Memory Gardens Monday at the convenience of the family.
