Myron Earl “Planky” Ireton, 78, of Ingalls, died May 28, 2014. He was born July 6, 1935, in Hancock County.
Myron was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Wilson) Ireton, whom he married on Nov. 29, 1958; daughter Brenda (Dave) Smith of Markleville; son, Brian (Becky) Ireton of Pendleton and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jesse Ireton.
Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A Celebration of Myron’s life will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the chapel at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville. Burial will follow.
