Alvin “Glenn” Scholl, 59, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at his residence. He was born on May 14, 1955, in Adair County, Ky., as the son of Harold H. and Nina B. (Buster) Scholl. He graduated from Adair County High School. He married Margaret (Carson) on Oct. 16, 1981.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Carson) Scholl of Greenfield; sons, Brian (Stephanie) Alig of Carmel, Joshua (Amy) Scholl of Indianapolis and Neal (Chloe) Scholl of Greenfield; daughters, Melissa (Brian) Comerford of Westfield and Brandy (John) Coffman of Noblesville; brother, Harold “Dick” Scholl; sister, Helen Curry and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold H. and Nina B. (Buster) Scholl and brothers, Orville D. Scholl, E. Gene Conover and Edwin O. Conover.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Francis Hospice, 421 N. Emerson Ave., Greenwood, IN 46143 or envelopes will be made available at the mortuary.
