Christine T. Miller, 75, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014, at her residence. She was born March 5, 1939, in Anderson, to Robert F. and Jean Thomas.
Christine was employed with the Madison County Soil Conservation Services for 33 years prior to her retirement.
Survivors include her son, Phil (Jeannie) Hiatt of Elkhart; daughter, Sandra (Rod) Silvernale of Phoenix; stepson, Jeffery Miller of Tipton; stepsister, LeeAnn Cooper of Muncie; brother, Steve Thomas of Sun City, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James C. Miller.
Cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at Arcadia Church of the Brethren at a later date.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.
