James E. Jackson, 81, of Knightstown, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014. He was born Dec. 29, 1932, the son of the late Goebel and Rushia Jackson.
Survivors include daughter, Jennifer (Matt) Springer of Cumming Ga.; sister, Jackie Coffman of Knightstown; stepdaughter, Robin (Darrin) Donaldson of Milford, Ill. Lynn (Joe) Burns of Brook, Ind.; eight stepgrandchildren; three great- stepgrandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia Jackson; brothers, Shelton, Alex, and Malcolm Jackson; sisters, Ruby Huse and Mary Wells; stepdaughter, Dawn Fellows; and a stepgranddaughter.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Morris Smoot officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove cemetery in Knightstown with Knightstown American Legion Post #152 having military service.
