Stephen W. Alford, 62, of Lebanon, passed away April 27, 2014. He was born Nov. 12, 1951, in Anderson, to Jim W. and Sue Ann (Wihebrink) Alford.
He is survived by his wife, Sue (Strack) Alford, whom he married Oct. 10, 1981; children, Matthew Steven (Selina) Alford of Noblesville, Michael Steven (Jenny) Alford of Akron, Ohio, Brian Eugene (Cassie) Alford of Lebanon, Amanda Claire Alford of Lafayette and Patrick Ward Alford of Noblesville; grandchildren, Jackson Fields, Trevor, Jaran, Alexander and Lily Alford; brother, Tim (Lynn) Alford of Naples, Fla. and sister, Virginia (Doug) Warner of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alan Alford.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A Celebration of Steve’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
