Robert E Ford, 84, of Danville, passed away on April 8, 2014, at his home. He was born on May 17, 1929, in Anderson and resided most of his life in Pendleton.
Robert graduated from Lapel High School. He is a retired Excavator for Ford Excavation which he owned and operated. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and baseball.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, of 66 years, Dorothy (Fulk) Ford; children, Diana (Greg) Jones, Michael F. (Sharon) Ford, Gary L. (Kathi) Ford; daughter- in-law, Karen Ford of Pendleton; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by mother, Geraldine (Rich) Ford; father, Richard Ford; son, Brett Ford and a great-great-grandson.
Graveside Services were held at 1:15 p.m Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendelton.
