Ashley Nicole Burton, 26, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014, in Indianapolis. She was born on April 8, 1987, in Greenfield, as the daughter of Steve Burton, Darlene (Johns) Hatfield, and stepfather Ted Hatfield. She graduated from Eastern Hancock in 2005.
She is survived by her father, Steve Burton of Indianapolis; mother, Darlene Hatfield of Greenfield; stepfather, Ted Hatfield of Greenfield; brother, Sean Hatfield; grandmothers, Yvonne Burton and Phyllis Johns; grandfather, Theodore Hatfield; aunts, Lisa Floyd, Beverly Wilson, Beth Scott, and Nancy Durham; uncles, Edward Burton, Tim Johns, and Keith Hatfield; and families; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Edgar Burton and Terry R. Johns; and grandmother, Cleo Hatfield.
Visitation will be from Noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation. Father Glenn O’Connor will be officiating.
