Judith K. Whitesitt, 72, of Wilkinson, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, at Kindred Healthcare in Greenfield. She was born April 5, 1941, in Henry County the daughter of Raymon and Agnes (Pitts) Brammer.
Judy was a 1959 graduate of Knightstown High School. She enjoyed reading, watching sports, especially a fan of Bobby Knight, the IU Hoosiers and the Indianapolis Colts. She also loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, of 32 years, Jim H. Whitesitt of Wilkinson; children, Leslie Bailey of Bloomington, Steve (Chris) Lowder of Phoenix; grandchildren, Jonathan Kelley, Courtney Sloan, Ian Bailey and Hannah Steele; a sister and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Leanna Steele; grandparents, Elza and Esther Pitts.
Services will be private and have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery.
