Wilma C. Stanley, 92, of Knightstown, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Morristown Manor. She was born July 2, 1921, in Connersville, the daughter of Otto and Laura (Leahigh) Dudley.
She is survived by her husband, of 72 years: Max E. Stanley of Knightstown; two sons, Loren (Katherine) Stanley of Greenfield and Kenneth (Jean) Stanley of Rushville; daughter, Marianne (Denny) Gergely of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Dudley and two sisters, Phyllis Foster and Rita Cregar.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Knightstown, with Father Jeremy Gries officiating and Deacon Russ Woodard assisting. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery in Connersville.
