Martha A. Moore, 93, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, in Greenfield. She was born Sept. 11, 1920, in Noblesville, to the late William and Lula (Yensel) Whitesell.
Martha attended Indiana Business College after high school. She married Earl E. Moore in 1941. Martha was a secretary at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base during WWII and in later years was a Teachers Aide at Harris Elementary School and volunteered her time as an Aide at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was a member of Bradley United Methodist Church, Psi Iota Sorority XI, the Eastern Star and Girls Scouts of America.
Martha is survived by daughters, Terry (Bob) Allen and Christine Moore all of Greenfield; grandchildren, Sean Allen and Kristin (Keith) Bonham all of Greenfield and great- grandchildren; Brooklyn and Kolton.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl in 2007; three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5- 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Washington Park East, Indianapolis.
