Otto Hineman, 104, of Rush County, Ind., passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at Rush Memorial Hospitial,Otto was born in Switz City, Ind., on Sept. 26, 1909, a son of the late Mary F (Quimby) and James H Hineman. He married Mable E (Dierdorf) Hineman, on Oct. 9,1937.

He worked as a Teacher ,Coach,Farmer, Principal recieving His Masters Degree from Ball State in 1966. He was a member of Milroy Christian Church, Deacon-Emeritus.

He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Martin, of Greensburg, Ind. and Kay Hineman of Rushville; sons, Harold (Janet) Hineman of Stafford Va. and Mark (Maggie) Hineman, of Middletown; four grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and one great- great- grandchild.

He was preceeded in death by his wife, who passed away March 3, 2003; brothers, Ralph, Carl and Harry Hineman; sisters, Henrietta and Fae Erzinger; son- in- laws, Richard R. Martin and Don Horan and granddaughter, Barb.

Visitation will be from 4 -7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Milroy Christian Church. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Milroy Christian Church, in Milroy, Ind., with Rev. Ron Simbro officiating. Burial will follow in Eastbrook Cemetery in Milroy, Ind.
