L. Harry Seaton, 63, of Fountaintown, passed away Feb. 8, 2014, at his residence. He was born on June 17, 1950, in Plainfield, as the son of Wendell E. and Lillian Harriet (Bradford) Seaton. He graduated from Triton Central High School in 1968. He married Judith E. (Walker) Seaton on July 4, 1991.
Harry worked for Naval Avionics in Indianapolis doing data entry for many years. He loved the outdoors, cooking, and being with his grandkids.
Harry is survived by his daughters, Shannon (David) Bentley and Heather Seaton both of Fountaintown; stepsons, Jason Smalley of Indianapolis and Adam (Angel) Graham of Carthage; stepdaughter, Leah Chittum of Roanoke, Va.; brothers, Jim (Sue) Seaton of Greenfield, Terry (Pam) Seaton of Greenfield, and Ronnie Cotton of Mo.; four grandchildren, Jennifer Bentley, Krista Skeens, Taylor Bentley, and Johnathan Skeens; two stepgrandchildren, April Bentley and Megan Green; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Bertram and Michelle Green; and one great-grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendell E. and Lillian Seaton; wife, Judith Seaton; brother, Wendell Bruce; and sister, Linda Darlene.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, also at the mortuary. Pastor Conrad Westbrook will be officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery.
