Joseph Newsom White, 101, of Carthage, died Jan. 26, 2014. He was born June 9, 1912.
Survivors include two sons, Donald (Mary) White of Hanover, Mich. and Louis White of Bloomfield, Ind.; four grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; brother, Phillip (Mary Lib) White of Rushville; and a sister, Bettie Butler of Marion, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Goldsberry White and a son, Wayne.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Tim Basford officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
