Eric W. Crawford, 68, of New Palestine, died on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. He was born on Dec. 2, 1945, in Anderson, the son of Walter and Elizabeth (Jacobs) Crawford. Eric proudly served in the Marine Corps. On June 1, 1968, he married Nancy M. (Reichenbach) Crawford in Fortville.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 45 years, Nancy of New Palestine; brother, Malcolm Crawford of Brilliant, Ala.; and sister, Janet Macaulay of Santa Rosa, Calif.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob Crawford.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield with visitation two hours prior, beginning at Noon. Reverend Mike Manning will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
