Jeanne Ann (Shelton) Sluder, 72, of Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at her home. She was born Nov. 26, 1941, in Hartford City, Ind. to William E. and Doris (Smith) Shelton.
Jeanne Ann was a graduate of Hartford City High School. She married Forest B. Sluder, on Feb. 6, 1988, and spent her years as a housewife, mother and worked as a seamstress until her retirement in 2003. Jeanne Ann was a member of Fortville Baptist Church, The Bridge.
Mrs. Sluder is survived by her sons, Al (Kimmy) Gable of Greenfield and Patrick (Jeanine) Gable of Fortville; daughter, Tamyra (Gable) Tinnes of Greenwood; brothers, John E. Shelton and Michael T. Shelton; sisters, Karen L. Bolt, Rebecca S. Cooley and Stevie Jo Townsend; grandchildren, Dannie, Rickey, Nathan, Caleb, Megan and Shannon and great- grandchildren; Anna, Jadelynn, Peyton and Wyatt.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Forest B. Sluder in 2006 and brother, William M. Shelton.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, with funeral service immediately following at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. Burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
