Virginia M. Hawley, 88, of Greenfield, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab, Greenfield. She was born Nov. 21, 1925, in Madison, Wisc., to the late Leland and Marie Ledford. Virginia married Lyle J. Hawley on June 25, 1946.
Virginia is survived by son, Michael (Lindy) Hawley of Joplin, Mo.; daughters, Jacqueline (Terry) Knaack of Greenfield and Roxanne (Mike) Noble of Apple Valley, Calif.; three grandchildren and eigh great- grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle J. Hawley; one brother and three sisters.
There will be no local services held. Burial will take place at a later date at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Nev.
