Velma W. Pressnall, 85, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Anderson, Ind., died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013. She was born Sept. 17, 1928, in Keno, Ky., to the late Roscoe and Parlee (New) Wilson.
Velma is survived by sons, David L. Pressnall of Bradenton, Fla., and Michael B. (Kim) Pressnall of Lawndale, N.C.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice (Charles) Polston and brother, Jerry (Mickey) Wilson.
She was preceded in death by husband, Dale Pressnall; sisters, Wyrdus Estes, Betty Hinton, Josephine Tuttle, Fern Williams, Tina Shoppe.
A celebration of Velma’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville, Ind.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson.
