Richard Steven "Steve" Keck, of Avon, Indiana passed away Dec. 27, 2013 at the age of 70. He was Born in Indianapolis, Ind., on June 9, 1943 to the late Richard Max Keck and the late Marjorie Gillaspy Keck.
Steve graduated from Greenfield High School in 1961 and received a bachelor's degree from Franklin College in 1965, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He married Pamela Wheeler Keck on June 11, 1966 and they remained married for 42 years till her passing in 2008. Steve went on to graduate from IU School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 1969. He worked as an attorney in Danville, Ind.
Steve is survived by two children, Andy (Patti) Keck of Seattle, Wash., and Sarah (Seth) Paxton of Indianapolis. He is also survived by his step-mother Carolyn Keck of Greenfield.
Memorial visitation will be held from 2 – 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 at Rick's Boatyard Café, 4050 Dandy Trail, Indianapolis, IN 46254.
