Lucille May Bainter, 88 of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab, Greenfield. She was born Feb. 26, 1925, in Ellettsville, Ind., to the late Ernest and Mary Jane (Stratton-Walls) Maners.
Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of Greenfield Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by sons, Robert (Gloria) Bainter of Greenfield, Raymond Bainter Jr. of London, Ind., and Jerry Bainter of Greenfield; daughter, Betty Miller of Greenfield; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Raymond Bainter, Sr.
Friends may call Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Frausto officiating . Entombment will immediately follow the service at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
