Judy G. (Likens) Hammond, 63, of Greenfield, passed away on Friday Dec. 20, 2013, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born on March 14, 1950, in Lafayette, Tenn., the daughter of the Late James Likens and Katherine (Summers) Likens.
Judy was a graduate of Arlington High School and worked as a bookkeeper, accountant, and administrative assistant at Ft. Harrison in Indianapolis.
Surviving relatives include, husband of 46 years, Marion Hammond; son, Christopher (Sonya) Hammond of Ogdon, Kan.; daughter, Tammy (Scotty) Benefiel of Greenfield; five grandchildren; brother, Tony Likens of Indianapolis; sisters, Sandra (Tom) Stroud of Richmond, Va, Rhonda (Jerry) Skaggs of Fortville and Carol (Jeff) Applegate of Beech grove.
Judy is preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home 1780 W. Main St. Greenfield, In. 46140. Services will be held at 11 a.m on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at The Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield, with burial following at Park Cemetery.
